How to Arrive

With Public Transport


From the Central Station by bus

Bus 109 until Piazza Indipendenza. From Piazza Indipendenza follow via Cappuccini by foot for 15 minutes. Take right on via Pindemonte until arriving at Piazza Cappuccini where the Catacombs are located.


From the Central Station by metro

Get off at the stop Palazzo Reale-Orleans. Continue on foot towards Palazzo dei Normanni (or Palazzo Reale) and cross Piazza Indipendenza. Finally, walk along via Cappuccini and turn right at the first corner, a short stretch of Via I. Pindemonte. Walk along it to Piazza Cappuccini where the Catacombs are located.


From outside Palermo


Exit the highway at Corso Catalafimi. Continue along the whole road and, when you reach the first traffic light, turn left onto Via Pindemonte. Take it until you reach Piazza Cappuccini where the Catacombs are located.
